come one come all and party with us before we take off to venezuela. yes, venezuela! dave and I will be chillin' in the caribean for about 6 months soaking up some sun, playing our music and house sitting for some new friends of ours. Bring the kids and help us celebrate. this will be our last gig in the area until we return in the spring. This will be by donation only so that we can pay the wonderful musicians that we have asked to play with us. We want to see you all before we leave so please come out and throw down with us!

YES I am so excited I will be performing with this awesome band, a blend of brazilian drumming with reggeton, cumbia and lots of other styles of latin america! this features Jose Roberto the bay areas most diverse and stylistically flavorful guitarist. truly a national treasure! Viva Mexico! Jesus Martinez and friends from Samba do Coracao san franciscos brazilian drumming party peoples and various other musicians will be lighting up the stage. Estela and dave will be performing with Gisela's Choir, singing songs arranged, written and recorded by Nilo Borges, Gisela Perez-ruibal and Martha costillo. a collection of religious music combined with afro-peruvian, criolla and huayno rhythms with lyrics in spanish and quechua. surely going to be a blast! Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Dave and I will be performing with our good friend Lourdes Saenz for 300 children from the pueblos Jovenes (poor and orphaned kids) these kids come every year to the monastary for snacks and gifts provide to them by the community. we will be performing some silly kids tunes accompanied by our friend Lourdes on clown nose and big red shoes!
