Dave's thoughts on Lua

Do we seek a revolution; YES! to bring more pure beauty into the world, sound and inspiration; lua channels the myriad worlds of our experiences into life, the touch of love in the world of what we see, feel, and hear , in the mountains of our thoughts oceans of life people colors brass bands dances the unspoken tension of silent lovers, wafts of mist rising from the sea, the warm dreams of the night under the moon, the sand on the beach of Olinda, distant drumming coming closer, a magnificent cascade of dreams and fantasies, sensuous rhythms, long talks staring into the eyes of those I have encountered, shared philosophies, dreams, struggles, humanity rising up in the face of oppression, of moments of beauty at the edge of magic, of consciousness evolving, san cristobal, lima, Veracruz, nights of maracatu, the empty spaces of praia santo Antonio, ilha grande, a magnificent kaleidoscope of nature and humanity, communing, sharing healing hopes the simple beautiful thing that means the world, the arms of the creator lifting my dancing body, heart numb and hurt, but lifted high on waves of sound, of joy, sadness poverty, the fruits of the trees and of the tattered remains of paradise destroyed by material culture and always the nature that we identify with prevailing, even if the stench of destruction lingers a moment too long, even as we comb through the wreckage of western civilization, somewhere there is a rainbow, a tree, an elder rediscovering the romance that they long ago abandoned in their heart; can we inspire a re-birth of beauty of the intention to manifest dreams? Can we bring a sensuous dance, magic to the dreamers, can we root ourselves in the breast of the bright green earth, cascading polyphony of crickets, streams, patois, drums, innocent almond eyes, staring, resting in our energy. The altiplano, sierra dos cuchamantes, o sertão, the infinite landscape of saudade.

Lua plays intense, luscious, activating music; we cry beauty into the abyss of human sadness, and create joy, dance, dreams, and inspiration for our fellow travelers to sing to. Remember that it is at the moment when you are most alone that you are well accompanied by me in your heart.
